Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pankaj Rai, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.

The petitioner had applied for the post of Assistant Teacher in Basic School maintained by the Basic Education Board for the selection held in 2019. The petitioner amongst others required documents have also filed mark sheet of his BTC Examination. The petitioner had obtained 1162 marks but after submission of form for the said selection of 2019 his scrutiny result for BTC Examination was declared and the marks were increased from 1162 to 1168. The petitioner has moved an application for correction in view of the enhanced marks after scrutiny result of BTC Examination to 1168, which application is pending before the Secretary (respondent no.2).

On the other hand, Sri Pankaj Rai, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the scrutiny result of BTC Examination was declared after filling up the form and, therefore, no amendment can be allowed.

Be that as it may, since after scrutiny the marks of the BTC Examination of the petitioner have increased, the respondent no.3 will look into it and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
